Terms for Using This Website.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website operated by Griffin, A Professional Law Corporation (“Griffin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Informational Purposes Only
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes and is not intended as legal advice. Laws and circumstances vary, and website content should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice regarding a particular situation.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Accessing or using this website, submitting a form, sending a message, scheduling an Initial Consultation, subscribing to communications, or making a referral does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship with Griffin. An attorney-client relationship is formed only as permitted by applicable law and Griffin’s engagement procedures.
Communications Through the Website
Do not send confidential, privileged, or time-sensitive information through public website forms unless Griffin has specifically instructed you to do so. Griffin cannot guarantee that unsolicited information submitted through the public website will be treated as confidential or create any obligation to act.
California Practice
Griffin is a California law practice and provides legal services only where the firm and attorney are authorized to do so. Website availability outside California does not represent an offer to provide legal services in another jurisdiction.
Initial Consultations and Private Briefings
A complimentary Initial Consultation is a brief 15-minute phone conversation intended to understand a prospective client’s situation at a high level, determine fit, and identify a potential next step; it is not intended for substantive legal analysis. A Private Briefing is a separately booked 60-minute substantive legal consultation, available by phone or Microsoft Teams video, for the stated fee and subject to the terms presented during booking.
Private Briefing Fees
The $495 Private Briefing fee covers one 60-minute session only. Additional time or another Private Briefing requires a separate booking and payment. If Griffin is subsequently retained for related future work, the $495 fee will be credited toward that related engagement.
No Guarantee of Results
Past outcomes, examples, testimonials, descriptions of services, or other website content do not guarantee any particular result. Legal outcomes depend on the facts, law, decisions, and circumstances of each matter.
Website Content and Updates
Griffin may modify, update, remove, or discontinue website content or functionality at any time. Although Griffin seeks to provide useful and accurate information, website content may become incomplete or outdated and should not be treated as a definitive statement of current law.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website’s original text, graphics, branding, design elements, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Griffin and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal, noncommercial informational purposes but may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit protected content without permission except as allowed by law.
Third-Party Links and Services
The website may link to or interact with third-party websites, platforms, or services. Griffin does not control independent third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices.
Prohibited Use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, use automated means in a manner that burdens or disrupts the site, impersonate another person, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Griffin will not be liable for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information, inability to access the website, or use of independent third-party services linked from the website. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
Use of information collected through this website is addressed in Griffin’s Privacy Policy. These Terms of Use should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Site Disclaimer.
Changes to These Terms
Griffin may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version should be posted on this page with its effective or last-updated date.
